On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Independence of India, Casa de la India and Casa Asia organise the lecture series o India@75.
The first lecture, “The Origins of India as an IT Destination”, will be given by Mr. Kiron Ravindran, PhD in Information Systems from the University of California who currently works as an Associate Professor at the IE Business School. Dr. Ravindran’s lines of research focus on the Information System Economy, whose interest arises from the fusion of knowledge obtained from his academic training in Engineering, as well as Business Administration.
Dr. Ravindran also has extensive professional experience as a sourcing strategy consultant to companies in the information technology industry. Recently, he has published the chapter “When the Cloud runs out of its silver lining” on the software distribution model in Spanish companies.
