Casa Asia, in collaboration with CultRuta, presents a new route in a different and innovative format. Berjer B. Capati, Philippine film maker and communicator will guide us around the everyday spaces of Philippine origin Barcelona citizens.

Berjer B. Capati, Philippine film maker and communicator will guide us around the everyday spaces of Philippine origin Barcelona citizens (restaurants, streets, shops, praying spaces), explaining the context of the history of immigration from this country in Barcelona and the current challenges that it approaches.

At every stop, also, we will deepen into their culture with tastings of typical Philippine gastronomy. In the meantime, we will enjoy a play in 4 acts, written by Berjer himself, where three professional actors perform real parts of key characters in Philippine reality here.

The event will end at the Philippine church par excellence: Sant Agustí Nou, in Raval, where we will have the chance to discuss it in a forum format.

It consists of an intercultural project that contributes to the approach and knowledge of migratory experience and everyday life and coexistence in diversity; focusing on breaking stereotypes and rumours about Philippine origin Barcelona citizens.
