Within the framework of La Noche de los Libros, Casa Asia presents El Jardín Japonés. Qué es y no es entre la espacialidad y la temporalidad del paisaje, book recently published by Editorial Tecnos (Grupo Anaya).

The Japanese garden is popularly known as an art work, whose representation contributes to the construction of a cultural identity, by means of which the social projection of the individual belonging to the culture that has created it is staged. The polysemic resonance its name suggests turns it into a kind of local and universal archetype, which cannot be separately approached without taking into account its antecedents and purpose, for being the expression of a mix of manifestations that defines or identifies the complexity of a culture like to Japanese.
