From the Bamboo School of Casa Asia We offer Asian language workshops for your primary school students. These workshops introduce students to languages such as Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, Bangla, and Chinese. For children aged 8-10, the focus is on oral learning, primarily through games and songs, while older students also engage in written language activities.
Learning about different calligraphies and alphabets, and identifying common or very similar words between Asian and Latin languages, will increase your interest in very different languages, helping you become aware of the richness of multilingualism and cultural diversity. The educators who lead these workshops come from various Asian countries.
If you have students in your class who speak and/or write these languages, they will feel valued and will stand out for their eagerness to help others learn what they already know. Consider organizing one of these workshops, and your students will remember it forever.
