Presentation: «Asia-Pacific Strategy 2026-2029»
In light of the recent presentation of the Asia-Pacific Strategy 2026-2029 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, this round table aims to bring its main lines of action closer to the Spanish business community and analyze the opportunities it opens up for the internationalization of our companies in the region.
The strategy, presented by Minister José Manuel Albare on February 20th at the headquarters of Casa Asia In Barcelona, it marks a new stage in Spain's foreign policy towards Asia-Pacific, a region that is acquiring increasing prominence in the global geopolitical and geoeconomic context due to its demographic, economic and technological weight.
This roadmap establishes a framework for action for the coming years aimed at deepening political relations, strengthening economic ties, and promoting cooperation in strategic areas such as innovation, sustainability, the energy transition, and education. It also seeks to foster market diversification for Spanish companies and strengthen Spain's institutional and diplomatic presence in the region.
The meeting will bring together institutional and business representatives to analyze strategic priorities and discuss the opportunities and challenges that the Asia-Pacific region presents for the Spanish economy. The session will also provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the role of economic diplomacy and the instruments that support business internationalization in this key region.
