The Matsuri Barcelona Festival 2026 returns once again as the city's most traditional Japanese summer festival, taking place on May 16th and 17th. Organized by the Japanese community since 2013, this non-profit event is primarily run by volunteers, with a clear objective: to share, celebrate, and enjoy authentic Japanese culture together.

Over the years, Matsuri has established itself as a meeting place where you can discover and feel the spirit of a true Japanese festival, through music, art, performances, gastronomy and the participation of artists who travel from Japan to share their culture with Barcelona.
