The Junyi Sun Kernel Dance Theater presents the contemporary dance, theater and martial arts show “Am I Bruce Lee”, a play about the prejudice carried by people of Chinese origin who are not from where they appear to be.
Based on the connection points and parallels that Junyi Sun has with Bruce Lee, the popular character of the seventies, the work explores the search for identity through dance: from the origin, personal development and professional journey. , even their ideals or desires to give them body and life in this show halfway between dance and martial arts.
A tragicomic performance with the aim of exposing racism on stage. A journey that aims to make the public reflect on the role we all play in changing the stereotypes and clichés rooted in our subconscious.
