In March 1973, diplomatic relations were established between Spain and the People's Republic of China. Almost a quarter of a century had passed since the founding of the People's Republic of China and the Spanish government under the Franco regime decided to take the step of diplomatically recognizing Mao Zedong's new China.
This dialogue will review these five decades of relations through protagonists who have been direct witnesses of the evolution of this relationship from their respective fields of work: journalism and diplomacy.
