Show: "Tell me a story from Japan"


At this show, we will listen to the stories of this country of the Far East in a participative format, where music and songs will have a key role. It consists of a compilation of stories that will deepen us into the myths and customs of a millennial Japan where rice field farmers and nobles of the Imperial Court, of ancient animal narrations and also of horrible monsters, of stories and songs that will move children and adults.

Yoshi Hioki is a Japanese painter and storyteller who has lived in Barcelona since 1991. Since 1999 he tells Japanese stories, myths and legends from different periods. “Japanese stories”, says Hioki, “are paintings made of words and silence. Paintings that reflect the joy and sadness of life.” He is algo teacher of Casa Asia's Bamboo School.

This activity is addressed to the family audience (from 6 years old).
