Course: "Good Practices to adapt digital actives of a SMEs to the Chinese public"


Is the Chinese market at the reach of a Spanish SME? Is the digital world really that important in China? How should we start up our marketing strategies to enter the Asian giant? What economic effort does turning to that market involve?

Casa Asia organises this course to try to respond to these and many other questions an SME with an international vocation could come up with when trying to enter one of the largest markets with most economic muscle in the world.

Winning matches there is very difficult and it requires high dose of patience and good planning. A marketing plan for the Chinese market requires, without a doubt, the design of a digital strategy. Social media are the best and fastest ways to spread opinions in China. To do pedagogy to sell a product or service requires time and to know how and where to do it.

The purpose of this course is to make a series of good practices easier to adapt the digital actives of an SME to the Chinese public.


  • Brand building in China: success factors and consumer trends.
  • Adapted website: hosting options, domains and information architecture.
  • Consumer Awareness: Baidu positioning. Influence of the main social media and digital platforms such as Wechat or Weibo.
  • Forms of e-commerce

Practical cases will be given in order to promote the active participation of attendants.

Students will have, depending on availability, the service of the classroom library with bibliographic material complementary to the course.
