Imagineindia International Film Festival at Casa Asia Centre-Madrid

Imagineindia International Film Festival en el Centro Casa Asia-Madrid IMG2

The Casa Asia Centre-Madrid hosts a session in collaboration with the ImagineIndia International Film Festival with two films, Whithered Leaf (Sri Lanka) and Tiger Hunter (India), which were released last year in those countries, but which have remained outside the commercial circuits in Spain.

It is an occasion to show cinema that demonstrate the social view predominates, the defense of the pluralism, the equality of opportunities, the human rights and the gender policies. In reality, they are like two windows to worlds, which we have no chance to see and can only learn from the cinematographic image, allowing us to contemplate social realities that are not news. Those protagonists share their individualities within the framework of a present.
