Casa Asia, in collaboration with the Fundació Institut Confuci of Barcelona, offers an intensive Chinese course aimed at those people who have never studied Chinese, but would like to learn the basics to handle themselves in the most common situations during a trip to China.
What level is appropriate? None, it is for people who have never studied Chinese or who have minimal knowledge of the language.
Content: At the end of the course, students will be able to maintain simple conversations in restaurants, stores, train and subway stations, and during meetings with Chinese people. You will also be able to learn about Chinese culture related to tourist places, gastronomy, typical souvenirs, etc.

Teachers:
Xiaoyan Guo, PhD in Spanish Language and its Literatures (from the Complutense University of Madrid), master's degree in Spanish as a Second Language (UCM), ICTs in Education: Analysis and Design of Processes, Resources and Training Practices (USAL), and bachelor's degree in Administration Tourism and English (Xi'an International Studies University, 西安外国语大学). She has more than 12 years of experience teaching Chinese language and culture. She currently teaches Chinese at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Comillas Pontifical University and the Confuci Institute Foundation of Barcelona.
Yingfeng Xu, PhD in Translation and Language Sciences from the Pompeu Fabra University. She is currently the teaching coordinator of the Confucius Institute of Barcelona. She has more than 10 years teaching and researching Chinese as a foreign language in universities, EOIs and different institutions.
