Manuel Montobbio - 2012/01/30 18:58
In Southeast Asia, Islam coexists with other religions in societies that have in common to have Chinese ethnic minorities in which economic power is concentrated. In some cases, this is the majority religion, such as in Indonesia, the state's most populous Islamic in the world. Although the overall image of Islam is fundamentally influenced by the societies of the Arab world, Iran and others like Turkey, we must not forget that Southeast Asia is home to a total Muslim population similar tothat of the entire Arab world and population that coexists with other religions. This region exemplifies the possibility of living together and not clash, between religions or civilizations.
