The shadow theater was born in China. The legend tells that the emperor, Wu-Ti, lived sad because of the death of his beloved, and nothing and no one could console him. Untill one day when Sha-Wong make him revive with the illusion of a shadow. Thus, from the earliest times shades have inspired fantasies due to their elusive, ethereal, visible but no palpable nature.

BabelAsia is conceived as a meeting and cultural exchange classroom which responds to a double purpose: on the one hand, the social integration of people from different Asian origins who have arrived in our country in the last years; and on the other, a better knowledge and use of different Asian languages among people who study them.
