Casa Asia presents this film series of the Philippines that goes back to the seventies with productions that have made history and that can be considered contemporary classics that have preceded current filmmakers. This is the case of Lino Brocka and Mike de León that can be considered the true pioneers of Philippine independent and experimental cinema. As well as a broader contemporary cinema, which does not have a commercial distribution in our country. Directors such as Lav Díaz, Sherad Anthony Sánchez and Raúl Jordan, just for naming some of the most relevant, are part of this series that Casa Asia organises in collaboration with the Embassy of the Philippines.
