This exhibition brings together works designed by artists, writers, filmmakers and journalists with a speech on the diasporic and multicultural city, the difficult conditions of life of its inhabitants and the rapid changes experienced in the past two decades because of its rapid economic and population growth.
The project takes the form from an urban dialogue between Europe and Asia, which targets new Asian cities. Based on a documentary and critical model introduced by Francesco Jodice in "Aral" of the series "Citytellers" where exclusion is the decisive cause of social disintegration, stories of stories have been grouped and told with different supports: video, television report, film, documentary, animation, novels, photography and multimedia installations. The resulting micro-stories or micro-hybrid narrative practices as described and shown fragments of the anonymous life of great cities in flux, in regions emerging from Central Asia to the Pacific.
