Masatoshi Takebe, one of the best known landscape gardeners of Japan, will give a lecture at Casa Asia about Japanese gardens, owing to the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the creation of plaça de l'Arbre of Riudoms, work by the architect who is also Japanese, Hiroya Tanaka.
A dialogue between both will be opened, articulating the speech of the architect with the landscape gardener, to strengthen the intercultural reflection about the relationship between human beings-nature based on harmony and balance, which are the symbolic principles of the traditional aesthetics of an order of the world that has been lost. Príncipe de Asturias Award candidate in 2004, Hiroya Tanaka is considered one of the greatest experts in the work of Antoni Gaudí, and Masatoshi Takebe has designed many residential gardens in Japan and South Korea and made a donation of 150 cherry trees for the aforementioned square.
