The novel, set in the Silk Route, was awarded with the 14th Néstor Luján Prize of Historical Novel 2010. It is a story of contrasts and adventures, that approaches love, risk and ability of self-improvement.
In 551, the Emperor Justiniano sent an expedition of his best men to China with the purpose to discover the secret of silk. Three women, of different origins, cultures and religions, will mark the destination of the members of the expeditions.
